Trailering a 30

I will be trailering a 1983 full keel 30. Does anyone else do this often? Do you have any problems that I should be aware of? I also need to build an "A" frame to step the mast. Does anyone have a design that works? If you know of a used trailer that is for sale please contact me. Or plans for building one. Thanks for your assistance. Ron

Beam restrictions

One thing to be aware of is width restrictions for trailers. Most states have a limit of 8 feet wide before you would have to get a "Wide Load" permit. Cat 30s have about an 11ft beam, so you would have to get a permit every time you want to take the boat out on the roads. You would also be restricted to day light hours. Just something to consider
