trailer wheel bearings

Time to repack wheel bearings on my dual-axle Hunter trailer for a Hunter 26. I have had the boat two years, twelve to fifteen launches in that time. That inner bearing is being really tough to knock out. Certainly harder than a car bearing, must be the water has caused some corrosion. Anyone have a technique for these?

Or a machine shop they will remove the races and press in the new ones for like $10. I am guessing you are talking about the races and not the bearings if your bearings are stuck like that you have got much bigger problems.

Bearing Sizes

Do any of you H26/H260 owners out there by chance know the bearing sizes for Hunter's dual axle trailer? As memory serves, the inner and outer are different sized. I'd like to service them before I pull the boat for the winter, and would rather have spares on hand then have to make a hurried trip out for parts. I realize that I could probably call Hunter, but I figured if you were in the middle of the project, you might have the part number info.Thanks a bunch -T J
