The old trailer for my O'Day 22 is about to require pasturing or fairly expensive repairs. Anyone out there happen to have a trailer for a 22 in their hip pocket, and live within a state or so of Mississippi? I'm looking for something in good shape, I already have a ruster. Thanks. David R.

Boat Trailer
I replaced my 31 year old trailer last year. It was very rusty, I half expected to drop the "22" in the road! I could not find a used trailer set up for a "22," so I purchased a good used boat trailer and built it up for a "22." I took all measurements from a single point at the lower front edge of the keel. These measurements were then transfered to the "new" trailer When I was all done I think it cost me around $1100 (my labor = free!) If you are "handy" it not too bad of a job...move slow and check every measurement three times! I only move my boat about 12 miles a year so I didn't want brakes. Good Luck!

Looks pretty!! I will be posting new pics of the 23 just freshly painted. Looks like you and I have the same trailer. My Venture (VBT4700) has worked wonders for me. As you, mine was sit up for a power boat, and 8 12" extenders later, she was good to go for the O23. Happy sailing
