So I went ahead and ordered the etrailer.com galvanized rims with 205/15 ST tires mounted.

Awesome tires and kudos to the recommendation.

Interesting observation while putting them on. There was no bevel on the rims where the lugs tighten down. This concerns me because the point of contact against the lug is so minimal. There was no solid feel of surface contact like on normal rims.

I am mentioning this because I am now concerned about the lugs loosening. I will be watching this closely as I plan to relocate my M25 from lake to home for some modifications below deck.

I will definetLY keep anyone interested abreast of the situation.

that's why the cheap price,it's more expensive to stamp in the raised ring and bevel which acts as a locking mechanism, I would add a drop or two of light locktite on each stud for safety sakes and keep a close eye on them, a quality 15" tire and rim should set you back at least 150 dollars mounted and balanced.Tires on trailer is the last place i would choose to be a cheapskate unless i only towed from storage to ramp once a year. Good luck with your set up

I appreciate that . I'm thinking on doing a little modifying to those rims this winter.

See if I can bevel this edges a little.

Figure it could t hurt and should help

It could hurt more than you think. I would contact the place you bought them and inquire about it, perhaps upgrade to the correct wheel.
