Trailer Roller Rub Marks

The black rollers on my trailer tend to leave black marks on the hull of my Capri 14.2. These marks are very hard to remove. Is there any way, short of replacing the rollers with new clear ones, of treating the rollers so that they don't mark up the hull? Or is there a special soap to clean these marks off the hull without harming the gelcoat?

Fender cleaner

Ahoy Dick,Don't know what might stop the rollers from leaving marks, but I'll bet that fender cleaner that you get at WM will take the marks off without hurting anything. I use it all the time for those marks that the dock wheels leave on the hull when I make a less than perfect landing.Good luck.Brad on the Willy T

change your rollers to the new kind they look yellow made from a new material my old black bow stop leaves large black marks on my bow im replacing it this winter cant weight
