Trailer Hub grease cap

Does anyone know the size of the grease cap on the macgregor trailers (1984)? I lost a cap on the way to to Valdez and all the caps in the local parts store were to big or to small. I'm sure many folks have replaced them with the bearing buddy type cover, what diameter? I ended up launching and retrieving with an open hub, I heard every noise out of that trailer on the 350 mile trip back home.

Thanks John, do you remember the diameter? I have to buy by mail order and they come in 4 sizes from 1 3/4" to 2 7/16"

Bearing Protector covers

John, thanks for the size, I had to fly to Anchorage yesterday for the J-o-b- so I was able to buy what I needed.
