I am about to take my Oday 192 out of the water and put it on a trailer for the first time. The trailer I have needs to be modified by raising the bunk boards. Should any weight rest on the keel? . Thanks fot any help. Fluid Druid
The trailer that came with my 192 (I believe it to be the original since it has he same dealer stickers as the boat) has a bunk board for the keel and there is definitely some weight carried there, judging by it's condition. How the weight is distributed between the bunk for the keel and the bunks for the hull I can't say with any certainty.
My Oday 192 has a custom Triad trailer which keeps the weight disributed between the bunk boards and the keel. It is impossible to judge how much weight are on each. The triad trailer pulls easily behind our mini-van.
