trailer for oday 23?

Triad trailers makes only sailboat trailers and had a better price than others for my Oday 222. www.triadtrailers.com
Check around at the local boat yards,you will usually find many sitting and available. I have purchased an older stout trailer with tandem axles for $500 and with little adaption have a very buy. No sense in paying big bucks for a new one! I now feel much more comfortable towing than with old single axle.
I agree with Chuck attached is a photo of a trailer I made from a $300 boatyard special.

Triad Trailers - but definitely a dual axle
I have an O'Day 23 and agree with the other posts - I would add one comment - regardless of what anyone says - get a dual axle trailer. Some people use the single but the dual axle makes the ride safe and easy - the boat weighs about 3,500 lbs and 4 tyres makes it an easy haul.
If you look through the archives you will see how some people rigged their trailers.
Mine has:-
A keel plate the keel sits on.
Bunk boards to support the sides
Two ajustable pads at the rear to support the rear.
I got the trailer a few years ago to allow me the freedom to launch and recover on my schedule. Its been great.
