I purchased a throw away Hunter 22 two years ago. It is now a beautiful boat. I have had a boat yard take the boat out of the water when I wanted to work on the hull, etc., but would like to look at the option of using a trailer. While a Hunter 22 isn't exactly a fixed keel, it does have a portion of it stationary. What type of trailer would I need to purchase? Thanks for your help.

Bunk trailer

Hi, My 1983 h22 is on a magic tilt trailer. It does not tilt. It is set up with 2 long boards that run front to back on both sides of the centerboard. There is two more long boards that touch the boat about half way up the side of the hull. That is half way between the centerboard and the waterline. There is one roller forward about 3 feet from the centerboard. This works very well. I am not sure if Magic tilt made it of if someone custom made it. The boards flex so the weight is distributed a little. Mark G.
