I recently purchased this trailer for my H26 and would appreciate any advice/comments to make sure I get it right for my boat. Can anyone provide or point me to trailer specs for my H26. Thank you in advance.

Looks pretty good but?

You will need bunks to support the hull. I would be more than happy to post some photos of mine however I will not have the yacht off until tommorrow. There are earlier posts tho with pictures. Try this web site. http://pws.chartermi.net/~gkobernus/H260_Web/default.html. George has a fantastic site with plenty of pictures and advice. Regards to all from a very sunny and warm sailors paradise!

H26 Trailer

If you need more pics of the H26/260 trailer let me know through my website- I only have a jillion and I can spare a couple of hundred. Your trailer will need some mods -- I suggest you contact Hunter they'll refer you to the mfg of their trailer so you can get exact dimensions. If that does not work let us know. My boat is on the trailer right now so doing the measurements for the bunks might be a challenge. Let us know what you need. There are lots of people who can help. Looks like you have a lot of work ahead of you. good luck.

is the 26/260 trailer adequate

Am I the only 26 owner with a hull that has sagged around the bunks?, my 26 has noticeable deflection of the hull at the fwd end of both bunks, I wondered if it would pop out if I took the boat off the trailer, so I jacked up the bow and the deflection appears to now be the shape of the hull, it did not pop out at all..I think the hull is really thin in that area and has failed, I plan to put much longer wider buks on the trailer to preserve the boat, after all most of its life will be on that trailer. I think my Mac 26 classic had a far superior bunk setup that cradled the boat athwartships instead of for and aft, the mac would settle into her bunks perfectly centered every time..
