I am looking for a used trailer to accomodate my 1980 C25 TR swing keel. I found a roller trailer for a powerboat which has the right GWR. Question is: can I raise the rollers to accomodate the different depth of the sailboat without to much fuss (And cost, sadly)? Has anyone done so, and if so, do you have any helpful hints?

I'm in the market as were . Colonial Beach
Trailer

Before I bought my current boat I had a Hunter 22. It has a normal powerboat trailer that came with it. It would sit okay on it but I ended up having to raise the bunks to prevent damage to the centerboard. Maybe you could take the rollers off and put bunks on the boat. You can have any metal machine shop make the brackets for the bunk and buy 4" by 12" boards for the bunks. You could then carpert the bunks. The bunks should work better for the sailboat than the rollers.
