Trailer for an Oday 23

I'm considering buying an Oday 23 but I need a trailer to haul it from upstate New York to western Michigan. Where can I go to get a trailer, or where can I find people who haul boats across country?

Call a boat transportation company. Many marinas can give you the name of one... Brownell is one company that does it, but they're located in marion Mass, and may not be the best choice...but they could probably refer you to one nearer to you.

Chances are the transportation will cost more than the boat. If it is at a marina you could knock together a cradle out of 4 x 4's, put it on a Uhaul flat bed and then have the marina on the other end take it off for you. You will be better off in the long run if you buy a trailer up front. The haulage will probably pay for 1/3 to half. Where in NY? It's a big state.
