Hello Hunter owners! I have just recently acquired a 1982 Hunter 22'. It is on stands at a marina right now. I need to move it in the next few weeks and have begun what seems like a fruitless quest for a suitable used trailer. Ideally, the trailer would be suitable for general road use, but it would also be okay if it were only able to amble 1.5 miles down the road (a deadend country road) to the launch. When talking to people about potential used trailers, I have had a hard time describing the type of trailer this boat requires. Does anyone have any brands/models of trailer that I should specifically be looking for? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks and be well, Jenny

They type of keel will help determine what your trailering needs are.

Possibilities

You might want to go and look at a dealership for a new trailer. Reason being is that you don't know what tortures the used trailer went through. The new trailer place could set the trailer up for the boat and that would make a big difference. New trailers aren't as expensive as you think. The extra money is worth the piece of mind if you intend to do a lot of trailering.
