Ok, but be sure your keel is already resting peacefully on the frame of the trailer when you trailer the boat. Do Not trailer the boat wilth the keel cable supporting the weight of the keel. Let the trailer frame do that.

And the springs, if they are still in good shape, will not allow the axle to touch the keel.

Up here in the North, we know that mileage is not the key to condition, it is age. A vehicle that is in the elements and 20 years old up here is a piece of crud due to the salt, regardless of how many miles it has on it. So, that trailer that only got used 2 times per year over the last 20 or 30 years is probably in need of update in spite of it only having been driven 500 miles. It's fun to gold-plate your C22, but I bet we often overlook the trailer.
