Okay, another suggestion: used older designs. I'm not selling, but I have 2 made by Boston Whaler, one is a 9' sailing dinghy (Squall), and the other is a more traditional 10' Whaler. Both are heavy as they have double hulls of a foam sandwich and are considered unsinkable. Whaler ads used to show a larger Whaler going to sea under OB power with 2 guys, oars, and a chain saw. They would cut the boat in half and each would bring a half back. One under power and one with oars.
The Squall is more versatile than the Std whaler but is much tippier (is that a word?).
Anyway they can be found on the used market.
Have fun

OOps: I said my Whaler was 10". That's a goof. It's really 9'.
