Hello:

Has anyone ever mounted a TracVision satellite dome on their sailboat. What is the best place to mount it on a sailboat. I have a 46'Beneteau. Last question, "Do they work".

Hi Moe,

I have a B49 and we went with the Raymarine 45STV Satellite TV Antenna System and love it.

We mounted our on a custom PYI pole at the stern, using a universal mount on the reverse sheer of the transom. The pole is supported by PYI brackets at the stern pulpit and a custom stainless bracing struts setup. I'll see if I can find some photos that show the finished assembly.
