Sound doable
Having sailed both it seems doable. The problem is the Hobie is so slick and squirrely. You'd obviously have to pick a good weather window, make sure the rudders locked full down and lash the helm admidships. To provide stability a bridle attached to the bow of both hulls should be used and I would think a small drogue of some sort would be called for both for stability and to keep the Hobie from coming at you in a following sea. Maybe a small trial run to workout the unforseens is inorder?Good LuckTim
