tedebee, That's a whole lot of boat. what is the beam 102" is the widest you can toe on most roads without a permit.
A few things to think about.
1st the beam
2nd the toung weight on your tahoe
3rd the overall weight of your boat trailer, boat, cargo, stuff in the car, passangers beside a 15olb driver, check your book for your towing capacity
4th you need very, very, very good brakes on your boat trailer and tow vehicle
5th what altitudes will you be towing ( subtract 2% of your vehicles rated towing capacity for every 1000' above sea level.
6th how far are you traveling
7th does your vehicle have the towing package
8th what speeds to you plan on traveling
Lots of questiions I know, but towing anything that size is very serious business. Fill in the blanks above and myself and the folks here may be able to help you better. Also search the archives in the trailer sailors section. The subject comes up all the time. Lots of good information there.
