you may want to have a rope 'painter' long enough to keep dinghy on the other, aft of, side of the wake 'hump' behind your boat to keep it from ramming the stern of your boat when you slow down. may want to use a poly rope that floats to help keep it away from motor/prop, and couple floats close to tow boat for added safety. 1/2 inch might work. on my dinghy, i have a short piece of rope attached to the center seat and eye on other end that is just long enough to reach mid cleat that holds dinghy up while stepping into or leaving keeping it from tipping.
