hello ran, the CATALINA DIRECT owners handbook tells you on pg. 3.23 " use no more than 30 foot pounds". i torqued mine to 20 ft lbs and didn't break any bolts. good luck john
Ran, Suggest you call Catalina Yacht and ask for Tech service. They can tell you what the torque for your boat. I would never suggest a torque with outy knowing at least what size boat you have. Mine is a 27 and I have been told it takes 60 ft. lbs.
