Sailors,My family and I recently returned from the Toronto area. We were forunate enough to have a day to sail. We rented a boat from Queens Quay Harbor very near the base of the CN Tower. The staff was nice and the boat was ready. It was a 23 footer and easily rigged with a small hank on jib. In Canada, they are not going to allow anyone to sail after 2007 without a boater's liscense. Incidentally, I also had to have a temporary Toronto Harbor liscense (a formality) to operate a boat in the harbor. Since we are boat owners (Hunter 34) as well as ASA grads there was no problem in renting the boat. At any rate, we circumnavigated the islands in Toronto harbor. The sailing was perfect with light winds >7 kts. The entire trip took about 2.5 hours and is an excellent way to visit and see the area. Fair Winds and Following Seas,Mike
