Four times

I went three times and plan to go again today if I can dig my car out of the snow. I didn't even look at the new boats, just at parts for the old one. I didn't want to get longing for a new one (at least not yet). I did buy a new dinghy, an Achilles. Hope they're good ones. Also bought a lot of electrical stuff including a Xantrex Truecharge 40+. Its amazing the price differences you find if you shop around. I paid $475 CDN for the 40+ but someplaces were asking $600. I don't think they have adjusted for the new value of the Canadian dollar. I have found lately that it is cheaper to order from states and pay the UPS than get it here in Canada.

Couple of times

We got to the show a couple of times- local Hunter dealer provided a couple of complementary tickets so we went last week a again ( Thanks Alan!) Liked the Tarten also, interesting to see the first West marine booth- they had the Go anywhere cocpit cushion fold up seat things on sale for 49$. The existing local stores figure they are going to play the role of "spoiler" for a bit. They had all their really low price stuff at the show. Hunter dealer -Angus Yachts- had a very nice but crowded reception the first night. Good to see Greg Emerson there. Would like to see some new blod there, pretty much same old same old. I was looking for canvas manufacturers only could find 3. Dont know if the show is too expensive for the small guy or what
