Has anyone replaced their topside canvas recently? Looking for a ball park number to compare bids to.

We had new canvas done over the winter for our H49. Included dodger (with Makrolon windows), bimini, and connector between them. We went with Cadet Gray to lighten things up a little. We did NOT have Genoa or Main sacrificially covers replaced and did not do side curtains for cockpit. We got a bit of a break, as we had the job quoted and measured last fall, and the work was done over the winter. If i recall, we're right at about $9k here in the midwest (Racine, which is 1/2 way between Chicago and Milwaukee). This canvas shop did the original canvas which I understand was pushing 18 years old. They also did a great job building my winter cover 4 years ago (which I'm trying to find a new home for, BTW!)
Thanks. Same bimini, dodger, connector piece, plus both helms and the table is coming out to be around $12k so it looks to be in the ballpark. The unfortunate thing is that there are so few people who do it anymore there is no competition. I went out for 3 companies and only one replied.
Pricing can vary widely depending on the local labour market.... you could compare cost of raw materials but labour rates and especially travel time for the canvas maker will be different everywhere (usually 4 trips to the boat for new canvas...)
It's getting hard to find shops willing to travel to a boat.... working on car seats and sofas is much easier, the gear comes to them!
