In the mid '70s we decided to take our yearly weeks cruise to Catalina and thought why not take Anchor our loveable Cokerpoo Mutt. (name him Anchor because first day we had him at 6 weeks old he jumped into our pool and sank like an anchor and I had to to jump in, in December, and grab him), My wifes girlfriend was going with us on the way over and flying back home on the old sea plane. Muttsy decided to get seasick all the way over and it was decided that he should fly back home with friend. If you've never seen the Catalina seaplane, it hold 8 passenger and one pilot and is of WW II vintage. When it lands the back windows are underwater. The lady at the terminal said dog would have to be placed in baggage area, that is until she saw him. She allowed him to sit on our friends lap and as the plane took off you could see his furry face looking out the window. Wish I had picture. By the way, LOVE Minnies. They got stuff that came off of Noah's Ark.
