My Oday 30 has a "strongseal" dripless shaft seal by tides marine. the water tube that feeds the seal from the raw water pump lines seems to take way way too much from the system. Would it be correct to think that the seal only needs a "trickle" rather then a blast? we reduced the tube's output by putting some 1/4" id copper in the plastic line. the water muffler seems a tad quieter and water output from the exhaust is noticably higher. Yes! the impeller, strainer, pump. and line are all ok. and the engine always runs cool or up to temp. all input appreciated! Denise
