Too big a motor?

I'm considering buying a Tohatsu 6 hp long shaft (25 inches, Sailpro model) for my O'day 192. Is it too much horsepower and too long a shaft? Wondering if anyone has any experience.

I've used the same motor on my O'Day 19. It is a good size and weight overall.
