Thinking about replacing the head with a Lavac, perhaps the Popular model. Anyone have experience with them? Other models?Nicholas Walsh

I wanted to put in a composting head, but couldn't make one fit in the current space. I'm 6'2" and would have had to contort myself to fit on it. I also looked at Lavac heads, but there was only one reseller/support facility in the US and they were very slow responding to my questions, so I was concerned on getting support when I needed it.

I ended up choosing the Jabsco Twist'n'Lock because it fit well in the space, got good reviews in Practical Sailor, and parts can be had almost anywhere. Also with that choice I was able to install an 18 gallon holding tank that empties via gravity. I have my whole install documented on my website if you would like to see how I installed it.
