Attends sanitary garments

I learned to sail my first dinghy on Glenmore Lake in the 70's ! As a last resort, what about keeping some "Attends" sanitary garments on board. There are people who sail with medical conditions that wear these products for loss of bladder control.

Maxwell House ..Good to the Last Drop!

Try a large 34 oz. "coffee can," they have a plastic snap cover. Everyone can use it, take it home at the end of the day....don't put it in the kitchen cupboard! Good Luck!

Tom the reality is that the chance that,

someone will properly dump a porty potti is a lot better than having people without an alternative going in it. It seems you are punishing the lake for the sins of a few boaters. You are right the chemicals are worst than the biodegradable stuff, so it would make sense to ask boaters to refrain from using them. There will always be a few than don't heed and all the enforcement you can provide will not stop them but the pollution will be a drop in the bucket (no pun intended). One thing is certain though, in a boat with no toilet sailor will go overboard while scanning the horizon.
