My Raritan PH II cheerfully flushes a dozen sheets of cottonelle with never a complaint.

There aren't any advertised brands...

Even Scott's insitutional brand isn't advertised. In supermarkets "quick dissolve" TP is likely to be the bargain house brand. Just go by the price...if it costs a fraction of the premium brands, it's prob'ly what you want.

I hope you pump your tank out once a week, Ross...'cuz a dozen sheets of Cottonelle at a time left to accumulate in the tank is gonna block your tank discharge sooner or later. Just for fun, put a sheet of it in a mason jar full of water and leave it there till it dissolves...as long as it takes.

Re: There aren't any advertised brands...

peggy, I've done that and it is quite durable but a half cup of "Drain Care" enzymes flushed into the holding tank takes care of that problem. A teaspoon of drain care in that quart jar of water will break down a Bounty paper towel in 24 hours.

What else are you using in the tank, Ross...what tank treatment?

It's your boat...do what you want But there's a good reason why toilet mfrs strongly advise against the use of premium TP onboard except in the newest high end macerating "thrones" equipped with "grinders" (they don't call 'em macerators in those toilets) that can even chew up a tampon.
