Several weeks ago I asked the same question about a black anodized aluminum toerail. I got several responses suggesting Armoural or Penetrol. However, not being a fan of Armoural and having Island Girl products on hand I used the following steps and am pleased to report that it has held up, at least for 2 weeks!! And by the way, our rail was VERY faded. Here are the steps = a general wash down with Pink, then I went over it bit by bit with Neutral Clear and lastly Superhard Superglaze. It was pretty labor intensive but so far worth it. Good luck whatever you try - it really makes a difference!
