Toe rail leaks

Has anyone had the pleasure of rebedding the toe-rails on the Catalina 27?If so, how in the world do you gain access to the hardware below deck? Thanks again, Ray Lewis Tinkertoy-NE Chesapeke, Md.

same problem

I hope you get some responses. I am in the process of rebedding all hardware on my C27 and was wondering the same thing. Mine don't leak now and I am thinking of leaving them alone. I might squirt some "Creeping Crack Cure" in there, but I have never used it before and don't know if it will help to seal the toe rail or not. Good luck....DaveC27

Just curious - How did you guys find out that your toe rails were leaking?

toe-rail leaks

Kenneth-got caught Labor Day in a Nor'Easter overnight so I had time to witness drips of water on the bottom side of the rail bolts.
