Just over 2x as much sail for a boat that's just under 2x as heavy as my Capri 16.5 was.

That is a lot of sail for such a small displacement boat.. however, it appears to be designed for it (although the original drawing specifies 187 Sq. Ft. of sail).. a quick google search turned up this interesting thread about the boat: http://www.rvharvey.com/picnic.htm
