I ducked into Hidden Harbour late on Saturday afternoon to wait out a thunderstorm. While I was there I tried to find your boat, but the only H23.5 I saw was the one on A-dock and I know whose that is. Do you store on a trailer in the yard, or were you out sailing? That trip reminded me why I moved. I had to wait almost an hour in the rain for the bridge to open. If you are planning to move, don't wait too long because Monroe Harbour starts filling up in the fall and it might be tough to get a slip later down in the year. Peter H23 "Raven"

Dock B

Hey Peter, I was out there during the storm too, i was cleaning my power boat and you came in and went to the gas dock. I pulled out to return to the boatramp at Monroe while it was still raining. I thought of swinging by where you were but i figured you had headed up to Otters or something... My h23.5 is on dock B.. slip B7. It has a green cover on it. There is one on A dock just like it. I will be moving by next month., I have to give notice to hidden harbour. That bridge wait has got to go, especially when its raining.

I DID see some guy out on B dock....

He was running around out in the rain and lightning. We were in the marina office drying off and trying to buy fuel. The storm blew up shortly after we passed under the I-4 bridge heading for home. We were low on fuel but didn't want to raise sail because of the storm was coming in pretty quickly. We were low on fuel and I didn't want to risk running dry in the middle of the lake. So it was back to HHM. We got back under way when the storm began to clear. The best part was after we passed the railroad drawbridge. As we came into the lake, a fresh wind was pushing the clouds and drizzle off to the north. We hoisted sail and beam-reached home in record time. One of the best sails so far this summer. Talk about a cloud with a silver lining. I will be away on vacation (with no boat) until next week, but I will look out for you when I get back. Peter H23 "Raven"

That was probably me :)

It seems like I’m the only one that comes out to work/use the boat on that dock. All the other boats are just sittin there getting corroded. Oh well.. I had brought my powerboat over to clean it up, I havnt used it since I bought the sailboat so it needed some TLC bad. Have fun on vacation, I may be in Monroe harbour sooner than I think. I have to call HHM today. Take care and have fun.... greg
