My Perkins 4108 has a 7 lb cap on the expansion tank. I know that the pressure in the tank affects the point that the coolant boils. 1. What is the formula to determine the effect a higher pressure cap has? 2. Why would one use a higher/lower pressure cap? 3. Is this the right pressure cap to use on this engine? Bob
