Bill, I was advised by my Hunter dealer to....
run 40# in the trailer tires. My trailer is a 95 Hunter dual axle and the tires were brand new trailer type tires verses passenger car tires. My boat is a 95 H26 with pretty much all the options and their weight. I tow with a 93 Ford 1/2 ton p/u 4x4. My local tire shop also agreed with the trailer tire pressure and advised 50# in the truck rear and 40# in the front. We towed our boat 1100 miles home and have towed 400 miles since then with no tire problems. All tire pressures are cold pressures. Ray
