WHERE CAN I PURCHASE TINTED LEXAN FOR MAKING REPLACEMENT WINDOWS FOR A 23' HUNTER? I'VE TRIED HOME DEPOT AND LOWES, BUT THEY DO NOT CARRY TINTED LEXAN. IS THERE ANYWHERE I CAN BUY NEW WINDOWS? PLEASE HELP......

I just did a search on Google for lexan and came up with several hundred hits.The one at the top washttp://www.polymerplastics.com/transparents_lexan2.shtmlMost major cities have a plastics wholesale and retail supplier that will sell sheet and cut goods. Buying by the sheet is less expensive but most plastic supply houses will custom cut plastic for you if you do not have the toolsHappy Sailing

A sign supply company

I went to a sign supply company, Plastics & More, here in Anaheim when I needed to find replacement material for the windows on my boat. I brought them 2 old windows, one side, from my Mac 25 and they used them as a template and made a set for each side for me. They charged me $130.00 for the smoked gray material cut and beveled and perfectly duplicated from the originals. A word of caution be certain to put plenty of sealant on the surface before installing or they my leak as mine did. If you use the GE Silicone, paint thinner cleans it up easily.

I found lexan at glass stores

When I needed a piece of Lexan recently, I looked in the local yellow pages for Glass Companies and started calling them. I was surprized at how many of the glass companies stocked lexan. They also will cut it to your dimentions for a very reasonable charge.Good luckJohns/v Silent KnightHunter 34

When I needed to repace my H23 windows, I went to Hunter and they made me a pair, real cheap, I think about $40.00 a piece. That would be your best bet, They make many of the parts and will work with you./ChuckS/V WindsongsH23
