She looks to be following the cat right off the raft. Dad must have thought it would be fun to have them bounce over his own wake. Hope he didn't run over them with boat when he turned around, or fouled his propeller with the tow line.
...puts three little kids and a cat in a tow toy and then proceeds to eject them because he can't control his throttle??Power boater or not he's got no sense! *butt
Sorry to put a damper on everyone's fun, but that cat has been Photoshopped in. Oh well. Here's the website.http://www.snopes.com/photos/animals/raftcat.asp
I'm very pleased to know that we'd all been had! Humans do enough insane things to other animals for real without adding things they call fun. I feel better knowing it was a 'photo shop prank'
That kid looks terrified and she isn't photoshopped in the picture. It's good that the cat is photoshopped in but the kid is actually in peril. My niece ruptured her spleen in just such an incident. It's true that it is a dangerous world and sometimes a little risk is needed for a little fun; but putting the kids in danger for what we adults suppose is fun may be "out there" when it comes to responsible adult behavior. By the by my niece also was wearing a PFD at the time of her tubing injury and the ruptured spleen didn't manifest itself till later that night. She nearly bled to death from the injury. That kid was probably just fine but the potential for real problems is something the guy running the tow boat should have considered before he bounced that little girl out into the water.
