Hunter 34 Lake of Two Mountains, QC, Can
4 & 1/2 months of being on the hard *Cry. 2 & 1/2 to go yet :(! I have had it and I have decided to leave tomorrow to spend a few days in the Cocoa Beach area. Anybody knows where I could either rent a sailboat for a day or perhaps crew on one ;D ? I'll be in the area and available from Monday 2/28 to Friday 3/4. Any ideas as to marinas, sail clubs, boat stores to visit? Sailing the Net (I do not surf and my 34 needs great condition to surf), reading magazines and books on sailing, puttering with the winter projects, all of this is OK and helps, but I am in a bad need of a fix of a few hours on the water. Any info or help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hunter 37-cutter San Francisco Bay
Near the Pineda Causeway

There's a ASA sailing school/rental place at the Diamond 99 Marina, a little place right on US 1 near the Pineda Causeway south of Cocoa Beach. The number is in the phone book. Last time I checked they had 22 and 24 Catalinas, and a slightly bigger Hunter. Half day or longer. Older boats but they worked fine. Be aware we are expecting a cold front. Might only be in the 70s while you are here. :) Somehow, I bet you can handle that. Fair winds, Sanders (temporarily in Florida)
