Hello all, Had the opportunity to try out my newest addition to "Rushing Winds" this weekend. Actually we just finished the tiller head and rudder head Friday late afternoon and put it on Friday evening. The factory tiller has to be considered the weakest aesthetic point on the otherwise beautiful boat, so here is the solution. I will put together a photo essay later on how we manufactured the heads. The tiller is available from the Chandlery. Use the tiller for the Hunter 23. Here she is pictured with my first mate, Nick and my sailing companion, Sailor (he has the big tongue). After sailing this boat this weekend with this tight, sturdy tiller, which fits and fills the hand well, you will not miss the factory unit. The helm simply feels great!!!! More to come.
