Does anyone know a good way to connect the motor to the tiller, so you can steer the motor using the tiller only? I was wondering if anyone has got anything aftermarket out there, or you just figure it out on your own. thanks Mike W

The Related Link is the best use of pictures to describe a rudder to outboard connection. But it is for an H26 so I am not sure how appropriate it is. There are a couple of pictures of the same on an H240. However the pictures are not very clear. Go to the "Photo Forum" and search on "tiller".

mike, you can buy the linkage at most sport fishing stores, couple of U bolts etc your done. Deffinitely helps the turning arc be a little tighter, and is out of the way, but would like to get more throw on it. On rare occations with rudder all the way up it works but slow to get into and out of turns, need pleanty of room. test it with plenty of area, has helped me out a few times when skimming out in +/-2'of water etc, not much help if you have a strong cross wind. worth the little effort to install
