Tiller Head

Looking for a tiller head for a 1976 Hunter 27. The tiller head is 1.5" where it bolts to the rudder head.

I've been wondering when this would come up! Looks like a unique bronze casting to me, and I know of no source for it. So finding a boat headed for the scrap yard is my best idea. There may still be some survivors of the hurricanes in the gulf to scavenge.

I don't think it's a custom item. I found this site on the web.....check it out. I also think that Edson has them but if you search you'll probably beat their price.

I am sure that there are several more, but at least you have a start.

I cannot imagine that you want to spend $500 for a new Edson replacment.
