Tiller handle replacement?

We purchased a '91 Capri 26 earlier this summer and spent many a lovely weekend gunkholing around the lake. Unfortunately, about a month ago, we got caught in a thunderstorm with too much sail up and the sudden weather helm cracked our tiller handle. We managed to do some quick repairs with electrical tape after some fast reefing, but we're still stuck with a broken tiller handle. Any ideas on where to look for a new wooden tiller? Does anyone know if Catalina stocks spare parts such as this?

under $50. I once used an oak axe handle for my old C25, worked just fine until I could get to West Marine to purchase another tiller. only $9 at the hardware store.
