tiller for cal 22

I recently cracked my tiller on our Cal 22. Unfortunately I wrenched the tiller extension around during a tack and cracked the wood at the connection. I suspect its prob. not worth trying to repair it and am thinking about buying a new one. West Marine has a few for boats like J/24s and catalina 27s. anyone know which might match best? Also, any tips on attaching a tiller extension to one of these new tillers, or the old one?
