Tiller auto pilot on a Hunter 23.5

I'm looking aat the Simrad Tiller PIlot 10 as a possibility for my 1993 Hunter 23.5.Does anyone have any experience with the unit or any other they can reconmmend that will not require me to take a second mortgage on my home.ThanksHayden

How about a used Autohelm 1000

Hayden, Last year I upgraded to an AH-2000+ soI could use my GPS with the autopilot. So nowI have a good used AH 1000, with a set of Newwaterproof connectors that I would sell for $250 plus shipping (about $20). The new connectors came with the 2000, but I used theones I had already installed on the boat. TheAH 1000 is faster and more powerful than theSimrad 10. Let me know if you are interested.Thanks
