Tiller Adjustments

I have some side to side play in my tiller. I have checked the rudder and there is no play there. What adjustments do I need to make to tighten up the play? Thanks for the help!Jax

I had a similiar problem with my tiller last year. I fixed it by inserting washers on the inside of the "neck" to fix the slop. If the problem has been going on for some time the bolt may have worn the wood of the tiller in the bolt hole. If this is the case, use the next size bolt and redrill the metal in the neck. In my case it tightened things up just right...
