Tie inflatable to stern (athwartships) Revisited

Based on input from my post of 7/17, I tied my dinghy to the stern of my H33. It seemed to work pretty well - but getting it high enough to be clear of the water was a challange. Has anyone tried a "Plastic Innovations C-Lift Inflatable Boat Carrier"? Seems if I can get the mounts attached to my stern somewhere, and there is sufficient clearance for the "C" shaped mount to swivel up, it would work great. Any experience with these out there?? Thanks Michael

not good enough

I tried these - they were really inadequate. They warped and bent qnd the dighy came loose. they are really designed to handle very small & light Sevylor type boats and not anything substantial. PS I have a small RU8 rollup west marine dinghy
