Did you all have to go up the rig to put in screw at the top?
Have a plastic insert in luff groove above mast gate, and none below so guess I'll have to get a short piece of track w/a bigger "slug" size and splice it in.
Maybe I can pull the old insert down out the mast gate. Could be messy.

I didn’t have to go up...slide the track up the slot, and use a special bolt thing (included) to secure the track at the bottom. My mast gate is 12“ or so from the boom...the track was cut so that the part that slides in the slot was removed below the gate and the track sat flat against the mast...that is there the special bolt thing came into play. Kept the track on the mast.

Ok thanks that clarifies things. The only hitch now is if the vinyl or whatever it is extrusion that's been added in my sailtrack creates a shape that doesn't fit any of their sail track extrusions.
I'll send 'em a photo.
