Tidal current online resource

Marine Weather Pro ap, bought out by the weather channel, has Current Predictors.
You have to buy the Pro version of this ap to get currents. The free version is good but does not include current.

I use it frequently transiting up and down the east coast. Places like Pablo Creek can run 5 knots. How would you know that just from tide tables? Other places nearby only run a knot or so.

Check out the Navionics app. It will show tide and current stations wherever they get the data for it -- it's really nice when you have GPS enabled and you can see the tides/currents basically right where you are instead of estimating off of some buoy station a few miles away.

Check out the screen shots below. One is the tide buoy information (displayed as the cylinder on the map) and the other is the current information (displayed as the arrow on the map). All you have to do is tap near that arrow or cylinder and then tap the question mark to open up the graphs. Hope that helps!
