Thunder Bay, Ontario ( Lake Superior) Info Wanted

I plan to sail out of Thunder Bay, Ontario and towards Isle Royale or Rossport. Does anyone have experience on this part of Lake Superior that they are willing to share. Everything from which marina did you launch your boat, things I should see and things to avoid.ThanksDave VEGA

Dave,I have trailered my H26 from Minneapolis to north shore of Lake Superior three times - Went to Isle Royale from Grand Portage, then out of Thunder Bay once and out of Rossport once.Key resource is Bonnie Dahl's book called THE SUPERIOR WAY.
