I am refurbing a S2 8.0c. It originally had plastic thur-hulls. I am going to replace them with bronze. The cockpit drain pipe was 1 1/2" plastic from the cockpit to the thur-hull. And yes, it was cracked. Should I replace the 1 1/2" pipe with new plastic pipe or is there something better than plastic? My concern is that the plastic is too ridged.
